The Fall and Rise of Civilizations 

With the information we have accumulated, we can now plot with reasonable certainty the fall of many civilizations. After each fall, phoenix like, civilization has slowly risen from the ashes of the past destruction, to varying levels of knowledge and ability. The founding of calendars (or the appearance of saviours) should mark points when civilization had begun to reach a certain critical point. Let us look at the last 50,000 years or so as merely a more accessible sample, bearing in mind that the course of this current sequence of destructions goes back four times this distance, or a total of about 200, 000 years.

On this basis, after each civilization has been destroyed, it takes about 2000 to 3000 years for people to recover a will to rise again, fight the prevailing superstitions, and get civilization onto some sort of secure footing from which it can recover much of its technology. On those occasions when this has been achieved, there were only about another 1000 to 2000 years to go before it was destroyed again. The sight of this continual depressing record of human hopes and dreams being repeatedly destroyed, as shown above, raises the question of whether the past could have been any different to the way it was. The cataclysms were largely unavoidable, of course, but did we always have to lose so much in the way of people, knowledge and resources? Unfortunately, the answer to this very pertinent question is "No! We did not have to lose nearly so much; not nearly as much as we have!"  

The cause of humanity has not been well served over the millennia by unscrupulous fanatical priests who, solely to acquire personal power through control of the populace, have created frightening superstitions based on the traditions of past cataclysms. Furthermore , without a sign of human conscience, they have skilfully manipulated the human race's genetic memories of the recurring past nightmarish destructions of civilizations, merely to help serve their own lust for power and even just their own perverted lust. They should have known that the cataclysms have been attributable to natural and understandable cosmic forces, and not to an irrational and highly vindictive god. It was their responsibility and indeed it was their bounden duty to know! 

The cause of humanity has been badly served by the unscrupulous seekers of personal secular power, who have flagrantly destroyed important ancient records and ruthlessly governed by means of the lie, by bribery, by corruption, and by divisions of the peoples of Earth. They have stopped all learning that they could not use for their own short term benefit. 

The cause of humanity has likewise not been well served by the scholars and scientists who claim to carry out open - minded research, yet mob together to resist any new knowledge which might seem to threaten their personal status or authority. The fanatical receptions initially given to the work of say Wegener and Velikovsky demonstrate that the unethical and irrational behaviour patterns of most scientists and scholars have changed little over the millennia, even after they were freed from the fanaticism of the organised church. 

If it were not for the continuing activities of these three categories of unconscionable rogues, in particular, we should, by now, have at least been prepared to face our biggest single future problem. The human race appears to have been left very badly in the lurch by those whose bounden duty it was to plan for the future and to protect us. (Of course, the politicians, scientists and senior bureaucrats of today do have their seemingly secure underground shelters, don't they? I am sure that most of us will find great satisfaction in knowing that the "cream" of our society may live to repopulate the Earth with their own arrogant, self seeking kind, in the quite conceivable event that the rest of us are wiped out due to their negligence.) 

Looking on the brighter side of the picture we can note that, despite the continuing depradations of many deluded, self-seeking criminals; even over the course of two hundred traumatic millennia, some knowledge of our true past has always been preserved by a dedicated few. Furthermore, the killer supernova debris seems to have been progressively stabilised over the millennia, bit by bit, including the awe inspiring task of imprisoning the Fenris Wolf in the rings (or chains) of Saturn. Perhaps now, in our era, prophecies are correct in assuming that the carnage of the past will be brought to a conclusion, after one last horrendous catastrophe. A further positive thought can be found in the knowledge that we do not seem to be alone in the universe, and that very powerful help seems to be available to those of goodwill, even though our welfare has been woefully neglected by the people whom we supported by our labours so that they might be officially entrusted with devoting themselves entirely to our welfare. 

In view of the extremely unsafe universe in which we find ourselves, it is abundantly clear what we as a species have always needed, in the way of leadership and goals. It is equally as clear what we, as a species, have never needed, in the way of leadership and goals, even though that is almost invariably what we have received. 

What we have needed is co-operation between all the peoples under a single leadership which is both sane and committed to our long term welfare. Yes, we have really needed a one world government that was voluntarily entered into by all nations, even if the last thing we need is the type of one world government that power hungry rogues are currently trying to impose upon us by grand fraud, by unconscionable deceit, and by seemingly overwhelming force. 

What we have desperately needed over the last two hundred millennium has been a continuing cultural environment conducive to a continually developing science and technology that are primarily devoted towards giving us relative protection from repetitive cosmically inspired disasters. This development needed to be ultimately aimed towards completely removing the current threat from supernova debris and towards protecting us from future similar hazards that appear to be inevitable till our solar system moves far enough on in its galactic round to get us out of the unstable zone between a colliding dwarf galaxy on one side of us, and the nearby Magellan cloud galaxies on the other side of us. 

Perhaps those who have continually given us what we never needed would care to explain why what they have given us has justified our pains and our labour in fully supporting their very much above average lifestyle?
