What can we Determine about the Origins of the Sumerian Humanoid Gods. 

The Judaic, Christian and Muslim religions all essentially begin with Abraham and Sarah, a prince and princess of Sumeria, and come down to us via their descendants in Isaac and Ishmael.. We have previously examined the likelyhood that the Sumerians were originally refugees who left Egypt about 5500 BC. The descendants of Abraham returned from Sumeria to Egypt for a period of about 400 years, before once again leaving it at a time of great calamities in about 3623 BP. When we look for the nature of the Hebrew living god, then we cannot, objectively, ignore the Sumerians' description of their various living gods. Nor can we ignore Deuteronomy 32, 8-9 which states: 

"When the Most High parcelled out the nations, when he dispersed all mankind, he laid down the boundaries of every people according to the number of the sons of God; But the Lord's share was his own people, Jacob was his allotted portion." This scripture rather specifically emphasises the plurality of the living gods of old, while emphasising that Israel was allotted to the living god known as Jehovah. 

The notion of living gods in human form prevailed through all the great civilizations of old, and the Hindus talk familiarly of gods visiting humans in their celestial flying machines. The question of the longevity of these self-styled gods certainly poses a serious puzzle for us, as indeed do even the alleged life-spans of the ancient patriarchs from Adam to Noah. Ancient Sumerian records suggest that their gods had access to cloning techniques, so it is conceivable that they were / are able to pass the ego from one body to another by something akin to the telepathy machine that is the subject of a USA government patent ⁴⁷ ( dating back to the 1960's ). 

There are also hints from ancient sources that a proper understanding of the ether (or ultimate sub-atomic particles) can create a technology to rejuvenate human bodies. For instance, E.A. Wallis Budge ⁸⁰ , tells us of ancient views on this ether (or neter or nether or primordial sea of spirit): 

"To the great and supreme Power which made the heavens,, the gods, the earth, the sea, the sky, men and women, birds, animals and all that is and all that is yet to come into being , the Egyptians gave the name of neter or ncther ... .... .This word has been translated "god-like," " holy," " divine," "sacred," power, " "strength," "force, " "strong, " '' fortify," '' mighty, " " protect," but it is quite impossible to be certain that any word which we may use represents the meaning of neter, because no one knows exactly what idea the ancient Egyptians attached to the word. The truth is that the meaning of neter was lost at a very early period of Egyptian history, and even the Coptic does not help us to recover it. It has been asserted that the meaning of neter is " strong," but this is clearly a derived and not an original meaning. The late Dr. Brugsch defined neter to mean the active power which produces and creates things in regular recurrence; which bestows new life upon them, and gives back to them their youthful vigour,"' and he adds that the innate conception of the word completely covers the original meaning of the Greek and the Latin 'natura'. . . . . . The difficulty that surrounds the meaning of neter is further increased by the manner in which the Egyptians used the word, for in texts of all periods it is used for God, and also for any being who was thought to possess some divine attribute or characteristic. Thus the great cosmic powers, and the beings who, although held to be "divine" were yet finite and mortal, and were endowed by the Egyptians with love, hatred, and passions of every sort and kind, were called neteru, and the word is translated "gods" by Egyptologists." 

For those with a Judaic, Christian or Muslim background, the notion of a living god, as specifically described in the Old Testament of the Bible, has a very special significance. After all, Moses, the great lawgiver of the Hebrews, is specifically reported to have spoken face to face to the living god JEHOVAH. This occurred at such times as Jehovah's aerial transport machine would land within and fill an open enclosure called the Tent of the Presence, an enclosure of specific dimensions ( ie 100 cubits by 50 cubits). 

It is very possible that the cubits used were the traditional Egyptian remen cubits, of approximately 0.37011 meters each (see chapter 12) since the 100 cubits and 50 cubits are both simply divided by the critical distance of 25 remen cubits ( ie 1/200 minutes of terrestrial arc at 45 degrees north latitude). Given that remen cubits were the units of measurement involved, then the pillar (cigar) shaped "cloud" of the being who called himself Jehovah (I am what I am), would have been about 120 feet ( 37 meters ) long and 60 feet ( 18.5 meters ) in diameter. 

It is also very possible that the cubits used were the Mir cubits referred to by Edgar Cayce as being 27.5 British inches in length, and which Fix ²⁶ shows were the most plausible units in the design and construction for the great pyramid of Gizeh. Given that Mir cubits were involved for the Tent of the Presence at the time of Moses, then the dimensions of Jehovah's flying machine were about 222 feet long by 111 feet in diameter. Such numbers have considerable significance in the ancient sacred geometry. 

Since records suggest that this machine of the living god of Israel was a mother ship for smaller fighters ( probably about 30 feet in diameter if modern day reports are to be given credence), the Mir cubit seems a more probable unit for construction than the remen cubit. 

I will state, on my own authority as an engineer, that the technology required to power up for true space flight is comparatively simple. It requires relatively little energy to neutralise gravity, and so true space flight is quite different to the extraordinarily inefficient brute force rocket technique in public use today. Since the living gods of ancient times all appear to have utilised flight technology of one form or another, then a review of ancient records on flight technology would seem to be warranted.

Thomas ²⁷ cites a translation from the ancient Hindu Mahabharata by Professor B.L. Smirnov, Turkana Academy of Sciences, U.S.S.R. 

"'Infinite is space where the perfect ones and gods dwell. It is full of their delightful abodes without number. Above and below their course the sun and moon cannot be seen. The resplendent gods, the fiery coloured ones, shine like suns. But even they fail to see the edge of the sky so mightily spread, So infinite, boundless and difficult it is to reach. 'The resplendent shiny ones conquer the space further and further, though it is immeasurable even for the gods." 

Thomas ²⁷ also states that "the Ramayana, describes the vimana as a double deck circular aircraft with portholes and a dome. It flew with the speed of the wind and gave forth a melodious sound." 

"The Samara Sutrahadra, which belongs to the factual type of records, treats air travel from every angle. The book: contains 230 stanzas about the construction of flying machines." 

Noorbergen ⁷⁹ calls our attention to the fact that one of the earliest preserved records of flight is in a Babylonian set of laws called :HALKATHA, which contains the passage: "To operate a flying machine is a great privilege. Knowledge of flying: is most ancient, a gift of the gods of old for saving lives." 

He also cites another Chaldean work, the SIFR'ALA, which is said to date back more than 5000 years (ie to approximately the estimated time of 5100 BP for the most recent disastrous Tower of Babel.) . Although fragmentary, it is a work filling almost a hundred -pages of English translation. Iban A'haron is said. to have worked out its decipherment and found, to his astonishment, that the SIFR'ALA is a detailed account of "how to build and operate aircraft." The details provide confirmation of its authenticity to anyone who understands the basic principles upon which such machines must be built, but many key lines are missing, thus making any uninformed attempts to reconstruct the craft from the texts quite impossible. 

Noorbergen ⁷⁹ cites the Hindu SAMARANGA SUTRADHARA on vimanas or flying machines to the effect that "the driving whirlwind engine is set in motion . . ." One is immediately reminded of the Biblical statement (2 Kings chapter. 2) "The time came when the Lord would take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind." and (2 Kings 2,11) " . . and suddenly there appeared chariots of fire and horses of fire, which separated them one from another, and Elijah was carried up in a whirlwind to heaven,"  

It is difficult not to remember that this same Elijah was able to call down fire from heaven to destroy whole companies of soldiers, and to set fire to a water saturated sacrifice. It can be helpful to have powerful allies or mentors. 

An integration of various translations of Jeremiah 30,23-24 states: "Behold the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: In the latter days you will understand this." ) This is an exact repeat of Jeremiah 23, 19-20, and consequently was considered to be very important. by early editors of the Bible. 

If this scripture did not refer to advanced technology, we would not have had to wait till the latter days to understand it. Twice within the book of Job (Revised Standard Version, Oxford version) it is stated: "Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind." Did he indeed? 

The Hindu VYMANIKA SHASTRA ⁶² consists of nearly 6000 lines of lucid Sanscrit dealing with the construction of airplanes; and these were airplanes indeed! They were able to fly from world to world, to appear invisible, to effectively spy, even to look like a "heavenly damsel" at will. Part of this text deals with "Jalada Roopa" and instructs the pilot in the correct proportions of certain chemicals which will envelop the vimana (flying machine) and give it the appearance of a cloud. 

Isaiah 19,1 states: "See how the Lord comes riding swiftly upon a cloud", At least; three translations of Isaiah 60,8 state: "Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?" 

Exodus 13,21-22 states that during the exodus of the people of Israel from Egypt under the leadership of Moses (about 1626 BC) : "And all the time the Lord went before them, by day a pillar of cloud to guide them on their journey, by night a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel night and day. The pillar of cloud never left its place in front of the people by day, nor the pillar of fire by night.'' The "pillar" was presumably horizontal and of a similar nature to craft currently seen in the skies. It's dimensions were probably about the following - length 222 feet -diameter 111 feet (as given by the probable dimensions of the sanctuary which it filled). 

As for the time when they were due to enter Canaan, Exodus 27,27-21 states: "I will send my terror before you, and you will throw into confusion all the people against whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out Hivite, Canaanite ,and Hittite before you." There are no prizes for deducing that the "hornets" are a squadron of fighters based on the cigar-shaped mothership; as were the "doves'" that Isaiah cites as flying to their "windows"" or entry ports. 

It is clear that the god Jehovah had the power to bring the people of Israel into any promised land. A mystery that deserves consideration is the question of where the children of Israel went during their forty years of wandering in the wilderness, with such a powerful protector. Even at a modest 7.2 kilometres per day, six days a week, they had the time to walk twice around the equator of the earth. (The civilizations of the Earth would have been in total disarray due to the global catastrophes at the time of the exodus, and would not have been able to hinder their progress.) The people of Israel certainly had time for a guided tour of the lost motherland, if that had been the intent of their protector. Wherever they went, they certainly learnt to trust the power of their protector. 

Speaking of this protector to whom Moses spoke face to face. When Moses asked the name of this extraordinarily powerful being, he was given a very fair reply. He was told "I am what I am". This is typically rendered in Hebrew by the letters Yod He Vau He, but can be expanded to Yahweh or Jehovah. This is hardly the claim of a creator God, but it could well be what a technologically advanced human might, in all honesty say, to a much less technically advanced human. Personal names for this powerful being would appear to have been JAH or AMEN. Because Moses could not conceive that this awe-inspiring being was also a creation of the true God, these names came to stand for the very creator of the universe. The spirit of God undoubtedly rested very heavily on AMEN, and Moses could easily be excused for confusing the creator with this particular creation, a god-king in human form. 

Referring to the end of "times", Daniel 7,13-11 states : "I was still watching in visions of the night and I saw one like a man coming with the clouds of heaven; he approached the Ancient in Days) and was presented to him. Sovereignty and glory and Kingly power were given to him, so that all people and nations of every language should serve him; his sovereignty was to be an everlasting sovereignty which should not pass away, and his kingly power such as should never be impaired." 

One is reminded of the Christian scripture Matthew 17,5 which states "while he was yet speaking a bright cloud suddenly overshadowed them, and a voice called from the cloud: "This is my son, my beloved, on whom my favour rests; listen to him." 

One also thinks of Acts 1,9-l1: "When he had said this, as they watched, he was lifted up, and a cloud removed him from their sight. As he was going, and as they were gazing intently into the sky, all at once there stood beside them two men in white who said, 'Men of Galilee, why stand there looking up into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken away from you up to heaven, will come in the same way as you have seen him go." 

One also thinks of Matthew 24, 30 which says "Then will appear in heaven the sign that heralds the Son of Man. All the peoples of the world will make lamentation, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with great power and glory." 

Thomas ²⁷ cites writings by the English Friar Roger Bacon who, in the 13th century AD, refers to "flying machines as there were of old, and are made even in our days." Here we have the Christian church in England associated with knowledge of flying machines, and of some being made in the 13th century AD. This church was founded by direct apostles of Jesus, so it was presumably custodian to various ancient knowledge. 

Furthermore, the fifteenth century painter Masolino produced a painting showing Jesus and a Mary in a "porthole" of a ''Cloud'', with an armada of U.F.O. shaped "clouds" following in train. 

All this, in itself, should not be surprising, if we accept records of flight in very ancient times and the co-commitment that the descendants of the interstellar colonies that Earth established over 200,000 years ago must have such ships in great numbers. They will be vitally concerned about events at this crucial time when the rebels against God of some 200,000 years ago are due to be judged. It would be most unwise, however, to automatically assume that the occupants of all anti-gravity craft are friendly to sane reasonable earthbound humans. Baal, the ancient rebel against God, is referred to in the Ugaritic texts as "rider of the clouds"⁷⁸ 

Thomas 27 cites the ancient book of China, Shi Ching, which asserts that when one of the early divine Emperors saw crime and vice rising in the world, he ordered that communications between Earth and the Sky be terminated. I would guess that this had to be done about 200,000 years ago, when the motherland's once highly civilized population had been broken up by the sons of Belial into a variety of competing groups that could best be described as a rabble. It would seem that the matter did not stop there. Thomas cites one of the Hindu Vedic hymns, dedicated to Varuna as follows:

"Whoever far beyond the sky should think his way to wing,
He could not there elude the grasp of Varuna, the king,
His agents descending from the skies glide all this world around,
Their thousand eyes all scanning sweep the Earth's furthest bound,"

This ancient Veda from India would appear to fully back up the Chinese tradition that we are a world under quarantine, for the good of others, and is in perfect harmony with the "Watchers" of the seer Daniel. There are many signs that the psychic disease on this planet is about to eradicated. 

The apocryphal, but surprisingly scientific book of 2 Esdras (15,34-45 ), speaking of the end of times says; "See the clouds stretching from east and north to south! Their appearance is hideous, full of fury and tempest. They will clash together, they till pour over the land a vast storm; · . . "Terror and trembling will cover the earth. All who see the raging fury will shudder and be stricken with panic. Then vast storm-clouds will approach from north and south, and others from the west. But the winds from the east will be stronger still, and will hold in check the raging cloud and its leader; and the storm which was bent an destruction will be fiercely driven back to the south and west by the winds from the east. Huge mighty clouds, full of fury, will mount up and ravage the whole land and its inhabitants; a terrible storm will sweep over the great and the powerful, with fire and hail and flying swords; and a deluge of water will flood all the fields and rivers. They will flatten to the ground cities and walls, mountains and hills, trees in the woods and crops in the fields. They will advance all the way to Babylon, and blot it out. When they reach it, they will surround it and let loose a storm in all its fury. The dust and smoke will reach the sky, and all her neighbours will mourn for Babylon." 

Now it should be immediately apparent that these clouds are not the normal type we see in the sky, but powerful machines of war. It is hard to be sure whether this prediction for the future is intended as such, or is actually a description of an ancient war, or whether it refers to both past and future. 

In this context, the Hindu VYMANIKA SHASTRA ⁶² speaks of the concept of "Pralaya". This deadly secret is said to push electrical force through the "five-limbed aerial tube " so that the pilot may "destroy everything as in a cataclysm". It is to be hoped that Earth's colonies will not need to demonstrate to us the forces at their disposal, but opposing factions may well possess these machines. 

Noorbergen ⁷⁹ states that detailed descriptions of how to build these flying machines are absent from all ancient texts so far known and says that the reason for the lack of detail is that the ancient sages declared that "any person not initiated in the art of building machines of flight will cause mischief.'." Given the incredibly destructive mischief that has recently been caused by the operators of even quite inferior types of machines of flight, and even ground travelling vehicles, we have adequate substantiation of the sages' fears. 

I certainly would not lightly distribute such knowledge myself. A true flying machine has capabilities so far beyond the most advanced fighter planes of today that these "modern" devices are little more than children's' toys. Given the basic simplicity of true antigravity flight, it is difficult to believe: that such craft are not being made today, and I have a sneaking suspicion that some are. 

It is probable that the very numerous U.F.O.'s reported all over the world come not only from other stellar systems, but also from hidden bases on this Earth. The book of 2 Esdras makes it clear that not all of these "clouds" or vimanas are friendly to sane, reasonable earthbound humans. It would be most unwise to automatically assume that the occupants of all such flying machines are beings of goodwill. 

Zecharia Sitchin, in his various valuable books tells us much of the self styled human shaped gods of Sumeria and ancient Egypt. I have discounted some of the information attributed to them on the grounds that it seemed to conflict with more objective data, and it stank of propaganda from a technologically articulate ruling elite (such as we have at the present time). I have suggested that these so-called gods were survivors from earlier cataclysms caused to our solar system by activity of cosmic origin. Their origin may have originally been planet Earth, but, then again, it may not. 

Sitchin argues that the original "home" of these human form gods was the intrusive planet Nibiru, but that is ruled out on a number of grounds (Possibly the displaced planet Tiamat (Marduk / Maldek / Anu ??) is really being referred to, and that would be a different matter.) The most important objections to the origin of these "gods" on the intrusive Nibiru are: 

1. How did they survive a supernova and then some ten to fifteen million years of interstellar cold before reaching our solar system? 
2. How did they survive even when reaching our solar system, when their "home" planet spent about 95-98 % of its orbit well beyond the orbit of planet Neptune? 
3. How did they come to travel to Earth from their planet via Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter etc, when planet Nibiru never passes near the orbit of Neptune and has always entered the plane of the ecliptic close to one side or the other of planet Saturn? 
4. How could they be sure that planet Neptune would even be within half an orbit of their "home" planet? 

Nevertheless, the texts quoted by Sitchin clearly indicate that the "home" of these self styled human gods is "beyond" planet Neptune, and that their rather primitive rocket based space travel required the utilisation of grand planetary alignments involving the outer planets. 

It really does not require much thought to determine where a group of humans with limited space travel technology would go to escape the repetitive cosmic turmoil in the inner solar system. There are three choices available. 

1. Build bases in the depths of the ocean 
2. Build bases deep beneath the more geologically secure parts of the Earth 
3. Build a base in the outer reaches of the solar system, away from the repetitive disruptions in the inner solar system. 

It is likely that all three options were chosen, since Greek mythology indicates that the sea was allocated to the god Poseiden, the underworld to the god Hades, and the heavens to the god Zeus. The surface of the Earth all gods held in common. 

If relatively scientifically advanced people were seeking to build a secure base in the outer solar system, as a refuge from disruption in the inner solar system, the place to choose would be self-evident. 

1. Obviously, they would choose the planet Neptune as a base, since this is the outermost true planet and it has a decent amount of mass to resist gravitational disruptions. 
2. Obviously, they would construct a base on a satellite of Neptune, since Neptune is a gas giant with considerable gravity, and itself unusable. 
3. Obviously, they would chose Nereid, the outermost of its satellites, since it is furthest from the gravitational pull of Neptune and takes a decent 360 days to orbit Neptune compared with only 5.9 days for the second satellite in. This would be an advantage with space flight. Considering that this outermost satellite is only 240 kilometres in diameter, it might even be artificial, but it was not observed during the Voyager 2 flyby in 1989 when six new inner satellites plus the previously known Triton were observed. 

Given these circumstances, the inward journey to planet Earth to pick up supplies that are unobtainable at their "secure base" at Neptune's satellite Nereid would follow a predetermined course, when planetary alignments so permitted. Naturally enough, given their need to conserve fuel, they would seek maximum effect from planetary gravitational boosts to their craft. They would logically number their home base by the numeral 1, Neptune 2 and so on, using number 7 for Earth. Sitchin argues that Sumerian records agree totally with this scheme, except he wants to label the planetoid Pluto as number 1, and to argue that home base for these self styled gods is on planet Nibiru, a situation I have already discounted. 

Is there any independent evidence for such an interesting scenario as there being a home base on the satellite Nereid? Actually, there is, and from a source which is both relatively modern, while also possibly dating back to about 4300 BP. 

Given that we are now experiencing one of those peculiar planetary alignments, when the living gods traditionally come to Earth, we should expect the "gods" of "secure base" at planet Neptune to be up to their old tricks again. We are not likely to be disappointed in such an expectation. 

The Christian sect known as the Mormons (or Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints) was formed by a god who claims to be Jesus Christ himself (??) He also claims to be. the god of this age (ie Prince of this World), and the rightful god of Northern America. What is more, he uses reasonably advanced technology for his purposes. If he claims to be the god of the age of Pisces and of Northern America, this almost certainly identifies him as Poseiden (ie Neptune), or the Enki / Ea of the Sumerians. Sitchin cites Sumerian records to the effect that this "god" Enki suggested the cloning of a primitive worker using DNA from one of their own people, so as to lessen the labour of the self styled gods. He also participated in the genetic manipulation / degradation that brought this about, and subsequently saved a remnant of cloned humans from a worldwide flood. 

As a not necessarily side issue, members of this sect known as the Mormons are all expected to keep a two year supply of food in their homes, so that they may cope with a coming world cataclysm. They also employ rituals seemingly indistinguishable from those of the Freemasons, and the Freemasons seem to be inextricably linked to the manouverings of the "One World Order" conspiracy, a conspiracy now centred in the USA. 

Now the Mormons have in their keeping, records purporting to be that of emigrants to the Americas who were members of one of the two tribes of the Biblical Joseph. The Mormons claim that these records were unearthed by their founder, Joseph Smith, under the guidance of an angel, and that he translated these records from "reformed Egyptian" by means of technological devices called an Urim and a Thumin. Devices called by these names were once in the keeping of the ancient Hebrews, and appeared to be technological devices for priests to use in communicating with God. 

Apart from the "Book of Mormon", the records of the Mormons include a book attributed to the Sumerian / Chaldean patriarch Abraham, the man at the very core of three present day religions. It is this book attributed to Abraham that I find particularly interesting. A diversion has, however, become necessary. 

In the Hebrew Bible, it is claimed that a year is but a day in the sight of the Lord. Rabbi Joel C. Dobbin ⁶⁰ confirms that astrology was a vital part of the Hebrew religion, and astrologers to this very day progress horoscopes on the basis that a year is a day, and that there are 360 days in a year. 

Furthermore, in the New Testament of the Christian Bible, Peter claims that a thousand years are but a day in the sight of the Lord. Peter's statement is confirmed by Psalm 90,3 "for in thy sight a thousand years are as yesterday." 

We could easily dismiss these claims on time equivalence as mere rhetoric, but that would not necessarily be wise, any more than it would be wise to categorically dismiss other seeming anomalies in sacred scriptures. 

The Mormon's "Book of Abraham" provides a key that clearly shows that these two formulae are extremely meaningful. It contains a set of information allegedly given to Abraham by the god of Abraham. (Figures 19 & 20). 

This god first equates a day with a cubit, thus asserting the equivalence of space and time, some one hundred and fifty years ago, or some 4300 years ago, depending upon the origins that you are prepared to assign to the book. 

This god claims that there is a first creation called Kolob, and that it is nearest to the residence of God (apparently in comparison with other planetary bodies). He asserts that one day in Kolob is equal to a thousand years, according to the measure of this Earth, and that the residence of God shares in this time zone( ie it must be a satellite of Kolob, or it and Kolob are satellites of a planet). Now, since this god is using Egyptian hieroglyphics, it is as well to consider what the Egyptians would have considered to be the measurement of the Earth. 

Two principal measurements of the Pyramid of Giza relate to great circles around the Earth, and one to a polar radius or diameter. It would seem to be appropriate to use the polar diameter of the Earth as the "measure of this Earth" and from this knowledge, we should be able to calculate where this Kolob and its satellite or fellow satellite happen to be (assuming that the Earth's polar diameter is the measure of a "day". 

Using a polar diameter of 12713.568 kilometres and a sidereal year of 365.256328 days, we can calculate that the "residence of God" is 4643.71 million kilometres away as follows: 

Distance to "residence of God" = 12713.568 * 365.256328*1000 kilometres. 

It is noteworthy that the mean orbit of Neptune is 4496.7 million kilometres from the Sun. Alternatively, Neptune is 4646.3 million kilometres from Earth when Neptune is in conjunction with the sun. The discrepancy between the calculated distance to the residence of God of 4643.71 million kilometres and the above distance between Earth and Neptune at 4646.3 million kilometres is only 0.056%. or 2.6 million kilometres. The outer satellite of Neptune (Nereid) varies enormously in distance from Neptune over its orbital period of 360 days. Closest approach is 1.35 million kilometres and furthest recession is 9.69 million kilometres, so the formula that a thousand years is but a day is perfectly accurate twice every year. We also have the situation where 360 Earth days is but a single turning for Nereid, the presumed "secure base" for survivors from a past catastrophe on Earth. 

Of course, the Planet Neptune was not even officially discovered till 1846, well after the death of Joseph Smith on 27/6/1844. So, during his lifetime the orbital distance of the undiscovered planet Neptune could not be known to Joseph Smith, let alone the orbital period of its outer satellite (determined in 1949). It is also impossible for anyone in modern times to have inserted the key statements in the Bible. 

We have here a very convincing link between the god Jehovah of Sumerian origin in the Old Testament of the Bible, and a god-like being who founded the Mormon church and claims that he is that self-same god. 

Other interesting and useful information is available from the "Book of Abraham". 

For instance, this "god" allegedly quoted as giving information to Abraham some 4300 years ago, emphasises that the further a planet is away from the Earth , then the more important it is. Hence the residence of God (Nereid?) would be labelled as number 1, Neptune (Kolob?) would be labelled as number 2, Uranus as number 3 etc down to Earth as number seven. This is the same numbering system as Sitchin attributes to the Sumerian gods, on the basis of genuine Sumerian records. 

Figures 19 and 20, taken from the book of Abraham, show the following details. References to figures in the explanation relate to numbers identifying sections of Figure 19. 

1. Figure (2) is said to represent a planet or satellite called Oliblish which stands next to a planet or satellite called Kolob and is probably either the planet Neptune or its satellite Triton, since it is said to be equal to Kolob in its revolution and in its measuring of time (caption 4). (probably Triton).
2. Figure (1) is said to represent Kolob, the first creation, nearest to the celestial, or the residence of God, and, based on what we have previously calculated, is presumably the planet Neptune, or else its satellite Triton. (probably Neptune). 
   1. It consists of a three fingered symbol with a cross plus cross- hatching on the middle "finger". (The planet Neptune is generally depicted with a three tyned pitchfork.). 
   2. On either side of the three fingers (tynes, orbits?) are two celestial bodies separately labelled 22 and 23, which are effectively said to be satellites of Kolob. (by telescope from Earth, only two satellites of Neptune were ever identified - Triton and Nereid.) There are strong indications that a satellite was once located between Triton and Nereid and was ripped away in the same catastrophe which gave Triton a retrograde orbit, so the cross probably represents the orbit of the lost satellite. 
   3. Above the three fingered symbol are two objects, one of which is the head of Oliblish and the other appears to represent a crown similar to those worn in Egypt by Pharaoh. These two objects are probably the very same objects as the satellites labelled as 22 and 23, ie the satellites Triton and Nereid respectively. Oliblish or Triton is depicted next to the crown or Nereid, but its sceptre is clearly positioned at the orbit the other side of the orbit labelled by the cross 
3. A panel of the facsimile incorporates hieroglyphs numbered 5, 6, & 7. When this panel is facing upwards, the following information is given. 
   1. The left hand side shows a dove said to be symbolising the holy spirit (or ether). In other words it marks the effective limit of the solar system. 
   2. Below the dove is a T cross with two three fingered arms, possibly symbolising Neptune (base of the T) and its current eight satellites 
   3. A figure on an Egyptian throne said to be representing God. Behind the throne is a bent arrow symbolising male and an abstraction for a more detailed symbol attached tothe Egyptian creator god known as Min-Amun. There is also a tunnel-like symbol which may be a female symbol. This appears to confirm the placing of the residence of this god in the Neptune system. 
   4. Next to the god is a female figure, probably symbolising the planet Uranus , goddess of Wisdom, whose orbital period is seven times that of Jupiter. 
   5. Next to Uranus is a bullock with a dog fastened to its neck. This appears to be Saturn, who was Baal and later became ox-eyed Hera, consort of Zeus (Jupiter). The dog fastened round her neck may well be the fabled Fenris wolf that traditions say was trapped in the chains of Saturn. This ties in well with Hoagland's deduction that a small black hole exists in the rings of Saturn. Alternatively, it might, at that particular time, be the Venus satellite of the planet Saturn. 
   6. Next to Saturn are to be found the four sons (major satellites) of Horus (ie Jupiter) symbolising the planet Jupiter itself. Interestingly enough, the caption claims that these figures represent this earth in its four corners, which is misleading even if not quite untrue since Sitchin reports that the ancient Sumerians labelled Jupiter as "foremost of the firm lands". This is an interesting confirmation for the alleged origins of the Book of Abraham. 
   7. An axe-like symbol presumably symbolises planet Mars, god of war. 
   8. A monkey like symbol presumably symbolises plant earth with its primate based humans 
   9. A dog-like symbol presumably symbolises planet Mercury 
   10. At this time of 4300 BP, planet Venus was still a satellite of Saturn and was not recorded by the Sumerians as being a separate planet. Its absence from this facsimile in the Book of Abraham is also an interesting confirmation for the alleged origins of the Book of Abraham in ancient Sumeria. 

The important point from this above evaluation, is the evidence that it provides for the credibility of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, and the confirmation it gives that at least one of the self styled gods of old is still active, and still involving himself in human affairs, whether it be for good or for evil purpose. If one were looking for another conspicuous "god" from ancient times, it would be hard to go past Sai Baba in India. From their past record of deceit and destruction as a group, they, along with their relatively primitive space technology, should perhaps be regarded as rather suspect leaders for humanity to place their trust in. 

It may be unfair to judge all such individuals on the basis of the cumulative actions of the group to which they belong, and there may possibly be well-meaning individuals amongst these human "gods" who are constrained in what they may do by the wishes of the rest of their group. Divided loyalties are, however, not conducive to decisive action. 

Since these self styled gods and presumably some of their initiated proteges must be well aware of the dangers to all human life apparently resulting from the impending return of certain celestial bodies, and they have not even warned us of the true nature of this coming calamity, it would be difficult to credit that they truly have our interests at heart. Could it be that they are short of resources, and expect to do some looting during the disruptions caused by cosmic cataclysms and by the folly of mankind following the disasters? 

There seem to have been about 55 catastrophes so far associated with the original intrusive debris from space. These self styled gods appear to have been active during most or all of this time. They are presumably quite skilled by now at manipulating distraught and disorientated humans for their own purposes. They may be unwise to assume that they will be permitted to continue their activities indefinitely. The verse in Appendix VIII was received by the author under inspiration on 22/1/1995, and it is suggestive of changed circumstances in the near future.
